Captain Doug will conduct a caring service, and at the family’s request will include a personal prayer, or other special words the family wishes. Our goal is to create a memory that will live in your hearts for years to come.

All Scatterings Include a Memorial Certificate suitable for framing which details the ceremony’s time, date, exact GPS location and weather conditions. It is hand signed by the Captain.

Memorial Remembrance Service:

On memorial anniversaries or other occasions, revisit the exact Latitude and Longitude where your service was originally performed.

MEMORIAL CHECKLIST:

To insure your memorial fulfills legal requirements and satisfies your desires, we have provided the following checklist to assist you:

✓ Determine what type of Sea Burial ceremony you wish to have performed and any event details

✓ Contact Prince Charters, Ltd. to relate your desires and obtain an immediate and customized event quote

✓ Print and complete the Memorial Authorization Form. It will signify your approval for the Scattering of Cremated Remains.

✓ We will email or call to confirm the status of your event

OPTIONS, DETAILS & PRICING:

Attended Memorial Service _________ $450

Up to 6 Loved Ones can be present on the sailboat during the Memorial Service (accommodations for larger groups are available, please call for details).

Bring: The remains and the Authorization Form with you to the dock.

Time: Attended ceremonies usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending upon the selected burial site. This time includes from the time the vessel leaves the dock to return. Please be sure to arrive at the dock at least 10 minutes before your departure time.

Itinerary: After leaving the dock, the Captain will sail the boat to a designated memorial site. There, with the boat at rest, Loved Ones may conduct their memorial service as they feel is appropriate. Music can be played, personal memories may be expressed and flowers can be dispersed. In true nautical tradition, if desired, we will ring the ships bell eight times as the ashes are scattered into the sea, signaling the last watch. The Captain, upon leaving the memorial site, will make a turn around the ashes as recognition of the deceased, so ‘farewells’ may be rendered, and then proceed to home port.

Flowers: Friends and family may also bring their own flowers to the burial.

Services such as Refreshments, Biodegradable Urns, Flowers and Photographers can be arranged for an additional charge.

Unattended Memorial Service _________ $125

The Captain scatters the ashes in the ocean, Loved Ones are not present at the Service

Package the remains with the Memorial Authorization Form, Burial Permit and a check or money order made out to: Prince Charters, Ltd. Keep the remains in the same box in which you received them, then place the original box inside another shipping box with the documents.

Ship the entire package to: Prince Charters, Ltd., 4952 Warner Ave., Suite 232, Huntington Beach, CA 92649. Remains may be shipped via UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service registered mail.

Service Observed from Shore or Pier ________ $375

Loved Ones may choose this option if they do not wish to accompany the Captain on the sailboat, or if there are more than six people
